Richard Griffin talks about the Griffin Multilogue

INN talks to Richard Griffin about the Griffin Multilogue, a new program for internal communication for a – company wide – discussion about the internal knowledge base and ways to improve internal processes and practices.
Tell us about this new Multilogue concept
I’m really excited about the introduction of the Griffin Multilogue. A Multilogue is quite simply an online discussion - like a virtual meeting forum that you access through the company intranet. You can join a Multilogue discussion through any online computer. And it's very intuitive to use - I’ve already had a discussion on one myself to try it out.
What will Multilogues do for Griffin?
It will enable everyone in our organization to communicate more effectively with each other. It is a great tool for a company with the scale and reach of ours, as it cuts across time zones and geographical boundaries. It is an ideal way to bring large groups of people together from all corners of the globe in a simple and convenient way. Via the Multilogue we can discuss issues affecting the company or brainstorm new ideas. More importantly, participants will have direct access to the management team, as they will be very actively involved. So it is a direct dialogue for everyone in the company with each other as well as the management. My management team is really behind this new communication tool as well, so I’m convinced it will be a real success.
What is the first Griffin Multilogue all about?
We are going to look at the subject of knowledge for the first Multilogue. Knowledge is an important topic for the company at the moment as it affects everything we do. To discuss and brainstorm together ways of improving our knowledge base and communicating knowledge with each other will give us competitive advantage over our rivals, cut costs and ultimately achieve growth.
