Griffin Kicks-off the year as Football Trophy sponsor

Griffin Sports Ltd has today announced it will be lead sponsor of next year’s prestigious Football Trophy. The multi-million pound deal was signed this week at the Football Trophy’s headquarters in central London.

Paul Millbank, Marketing Director, Griffin, said: “Football will be a major focus for Griffin in the coming 12 months with many new products in the pipeline. The Football Trophy is the pinnacle of the football calendar so it provides us with an ideal opportunity to reach the vast majority of football fans attending and watching the games. This is our largest sponsorship deal to-date and I am confident it will be a major global success.”

As part of the sponsorship package Griffin receives extensive branding throughout all games and the company logo will feature on all pitch-side advertising, the score board as well as on the match tickets. In addition, Griffin will receive an allocation of VIP hospitality tickets.

Brian Cosgrove, Sponsorship Director of the Football Trophy Organizing Committee, said: “We are delighted to have Griffin on board to support next year’s Football Trophy. The organization’s long history of providing quality products to the sport fits well with what we are trying to achieve as organizers. We look forward to working with Griffin to maximize this opportunity for both sides.”

Griffin will support the sponsorship with a major advertising and direct marketing campaign to consumer and trade media.
